Royal Tea

On July 29, 1981, I woke up at 5:00 am to watch Lady Diana Spencer wed Prince Charles. Little did I know that it was the 15th birthday of my future husband!
I have always been a Royal watcher and I am so excited that Prince William has decided to take a bride. I love that they are doing things "their" way by making most of the decisions about their celebration unlike the wedding of his parents.
I found these invitations on etsy and have decided to host a Royal Tea on April 29th, the day of the Roayl wedding. I can't wait to host this special celebration stateside.

I love this idea! I think I will host a Royal Tea for the wedding watching too! Thanks for the inspiration!

Cute idea. I was thinking about doing a tea too but not on the wedding day. I was going to do a "Bridal shower" tea. Of course with no gifts.

Those invites are cute.

What a fun idea, Donna...a Royal Tea! How cool that your future hubby was just 15 on the day Diana and Charles were wed...only YOU would put that together....always the "detail person"!!! ;)

Hope your mom is doing well. Are you guys "training" for the 5K in the fall? I started back on my jogging routine about 3 weeks ago....very hard! :( I have been slowly building up...and finally hit the 25 min of running mark yesterday. It's a struggle for this Elder Runnier! My niece and I are doing the 5K in the Oz Marathon in Olathe, KS the 16th of April! The weather here has been so icky that it's been hard "reclaiming" my running level from last fall...and we are now back in a rain and even SNOW mode! :(

Hope you're having a great week! L, Dana

I can remember getting up early to watch Lady Di and Prince Charles, too! I kept telling my mom not to forget to wake me up! I was almost 10..the age now of my oldest daughter. *Ü* I can't wait to see your fabulous celebration! That will be oodles of fun! I've followed you on Google Reader for quite sometime, and your Breakfast at Tiffany party is still one of my most favorite parties. I'd love to do one sometime! Happy tea party planning! *Ü*
